31 Oct – 20 Nov: The gallery presents Lavender Menace, an exhibition of recent photographic works by Cape Town artist Jean Brundrit. The works deal with the representation of lesbian identity, and is a quirky take on the genre of social documentary, usually dominated by male photographers. 832 1641
Market Theatre Photogallery
31 Oct – 20 Nov: Outskirts II: 1999 with Giyani College of Education (Northern Province). This exhibition focuses on a dynamic mural project initiated by Giyani College, and will largely consist of documentation (video and photographic). This documentation will provide insight into the context in which these murals are produced, as well as some of the interactions and processes the students have engaged in to realise their art works. 832 1641
