Instructors
Ingrid has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Pretoria. She is also a South African National Equestrian Federation (SANEF) qualified instructor. She has over 26 years riding experience, and 15 years experience teaching and running a stable yard. She teaches showjumping, dressage and cross country for anyone from beginners to highly competitive riders. Ingrid has excelled in eventing, and is currently schooling a young horse with whom she hopes to compete in the near future.
Anneliese Gillett is a BHS AI qualified instructor who specialises in dressage, and teaches lessons at the stables on Friday afternoons.
Nikki is an avid and experienced rider who has jumped up to adult B-Grade in the past. She rides at the stables, and teaches some jumping and schooling lessons.
Occasionally some of our other experienced riders, like James Urry and Claudia Cloete, assist with lessons for beginners and children.
The majority of our lessons are organised on an individual basis.

- Anneliese Gillett teaches specialised dressage lessons on Friday afternoons, organised by arrangement.
- There is an intermediate to advanced jumping group lesson on Saturday mornings from 9h00 to 10h00.
- There is a beginner to intermediate jumping group lesson on Saturday mornings from 10h00 to 11h00.
- By special arrangement, our advanced jumpers take some outside lessons with Anna-Marie Esslinger at Burlington.
