(29/11) The Next Single: Girlfriend
Source: dailynews.yahoo.com

*NSync is getting ready to release its next single. The guys recently told MTV's "TRL" that they're working on a video for the song "Girlfriend."
Justin Timberlake is taking a key role in the development of the clip, because he wrote the song. He explains that he wants the video to capture the both the song's essence as well as its meaning. In order to do that, he said he had to, quote, "revisit it," because he wrote "Girlfriend" back in February.

Last week the band gave "Girlfriend" its national TV debut, performing it on the CBS special "*NSync Live! The Atlantis Concert" featuring country star Tim McGraw. *NSync will be filming "Girlfriend" some time next month.

The video is scheduled to debut on MTV on New Year's Eve.

(29/11) Joey's got the Coolest Bachelor Pad
Source: canada.com, nsyncwebguide.com

Rock star Joey Fatone doesn't know what pleases him more about his new house in Florida -- the kitchen which is designed like a '50s diner or his private movie theatre, which has a Star Wars motif.
"Oh wow!" Fatone, 24, exclaims. "My house is like the coolest bachelor pad you ever could have -- except that I'm not a bachelor." (The 'N Sync performer shares his home with his girlfriend and daughter.) But yes, he's one of those celebrities who figures a house should be an extension of its owner's personality.

"My whole kitchen is like a '50s diner. I've got a checkered floor and a jukebox which plays all '50s songs on 45 vinyls. People like Buddy Holly -- you name it."

He's turned his office into a Superman room, because he collects Superman paraphernalia. "But the coolest thing I have is probably my eight-seat theatre. The way I wanted it was to have a theme theatre. I didn't want chairs and a screen. So the way I did it was like you're walking into Star Wars."

The door to the theatre is guarded by a replica of Star Wars creation Jabba The Hutt. To enter, you have to put your hand against a plate on the wall. "Then in response to your handprint, the door hydraulically springs open." Fatone is sounding like a kid with a very expensive toy. "There's a fibre-optic ceiling and if you look out the window you see a couple of ships actually flying by. I've got what looks like a gun holster rack but it actually conceals a microwave and fridge so I can serve snacks. This room cost as much as the rest of the house." And what was the first film he showed to friends in his souped-up cinema? Scary Movie. "It seemed appropriate."

Fatone isn't the only 'N Syncer into houses these days. Colleague Lance Bass, 22, who also costars with him in the new romantic comedy, On The Line, is ecstatic about the "incredible decorator" who turned his new Florida home into the place of his dreams.

"It's built with different things from around the world," Bass reports. "All my floors are wooden -- the wood comes from a basketball court in Daytona that was going to be torn down. My doors and bookcases are from old abandoned churches. I love houses that have a kind of weird vibe to them."

(29/11) *NSYNC Scaling Back to Smaller Venues
Source: Billboard.com, nsyncwebguide.com

The two acts that played the most stadium concerts this year, 'N Sync and Dave Matthews Band, will scale back to smaller venues in 2002, Billboard Bulletin reports. A stadium run by 'N Sync grossed more than $90 million this year, but the group will tour arenas beginning next spring, sources say. The group is currently off the road but is confirmed to perform at the Feb. 24 opening ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
As for DMB, it grossed more than $65 million from a combination of stadiums and amphitheaters in 2001 and has added more stadiums to its route each year. However, the band will play arenas and amphitheaters starting in April.

"We've been in the stadiums for a while, and now we've made a conscious decision to downsize and make it easier on everybody," says Coran Capshaw, the band's longtime manager. Rather than a response to economic or cultural factors, the move relates to the "stress levels" involved with such large venues, says Capshaw, adding that DMB has enjoyed success at the stadium level. "We went to stadiums to address the volume of people that want to see this band. When 50,000 people come to see the show, we've addressed that demand."

Capshaw adds that DMB, which pulled the plug on a planned European tour this fall due to travel concerns, is considering another shot at Europe for next year.

DMB bassist Stefan Lessard recently told Boston radio station WBCN-FM that the group will hit a San Francisco studio in mid-February. Of the self-produced sessions, Lessard said the group would likely record some new songs and re-do tracks it previously put to tape with producer Steve Lillywhite; those recordings were leaked onto the Internet as a sort of companion to this year's officially released RCA set "Everyday."

10. Bye Bye Bye
In the NSYNC special, Lance sings the first part of "Lean On Me". I freaked! You've gotta see this concert. Tim McGraw is on stage (dunno who he is either, country singer)!
Really good beat dancing in the beginning of Girlfriend!
They like to sing in the bathroom... good sound
I saw the Gone performance on TRL, so I knew what it would be like. I didn't see that Justin gets up somewhere near the end, and sings, wearing these messed up pants, like, for a suit, but in a weird color. Let's just say, I wouldn't pick those pants for JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! never :-()
THOSE DUDES ARE HOTTIES! JC - curly hair, wass^ with that? Joey - didn't shave his head yet, looks good. Chris - less wacky then normal. Lance -  looks like perfect (for Abigail :P). Justin - now an hour goes by fast when you're watching your favourite band do what they do, but when you're watching the hottest guy ever, it goes even faster!

(23/11) Justin to Play Young Elton in New Clip
Source: mtv.com
Justin Timberlake just isn't himself these days ... he's Elton John.

The 'NSYNC hottie takes on the role of a younger version of Elton in the piano man's new video for "This Train Don't Stop There Any More."

The '70s-inspired clip is centered on Justin backstage at a concert venue as he performs the song while making his way from the dressing room to the stage. Paul Reubens, the artist formerly known as Pee-wee Herman, also turns up in the video, as the young Elton's manager.

This odd assortment of characters gathered in Los Angeles last weekend to shoot the video under the guidance of director David LaChapelle.

This marks the second time in a row that John has roped someone else into doing his video dirty work. For his first video from Songs From the West Coast, John lined up actor Robert Downey Jr. to lip-synch his way through "I Want Love."

A spokesperson for LaChapelle said that this time around, Timberlake was the first choice for the role, and that he jumped at the chance to act in the video.

(23/11) Chris Marvels at *NSYNC's Success
Source: dailynews.yahoo.com
Sometimes, Chris Kirkpatrick of 'N Sync can't believe how his life has changed.

"It's absurd to have gone from totally poor to totally rich," the 30-year-old singer told Us Weekly for its Dec. 3 issue. "I wake up in my house in the middle of the night and go, 'Whose house is this?"'

Growing up in Clarion, Pa., Kirkpatrick and his four younger half-sisters moved frequently. After his father died, his mother worked as a maid and did odd jobs; his stepfather had trouble finding steady work.

At one point, they lived in a trailer that had no heat and a hole in the side. He used layers of dirty laundry as blankets to keep warm at night.

After he graduated from high school, Kirkpatrick moved to Orlando, Fla., to pursue his dream of pop music. That's where he met Justin Timberlake, and the two co-created the five-member boy band 'N Sync, which earned $42 million last year.

But Kirkpatrick said he's still frugal. "I have a financial adviser who won't let me do anything," he joked. "He's so tight that if I go through the drive-through, he makes me call him if I wanna supersize."

(23/11) Update from Melinda
Source: nsync.com

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am so excited as are all the guys, we are actually going to be home with our families for the first time in years for Thanksgiving. It is going to be great to have home cooked meals instead hotel turkey dinners! Be sure to tune into CBS on the 23rd for *NSYNC's Holiday Special from the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas. It was really nice going there. Next time we go it will be all fun no work.

After the holidays the guys come back full speed with A CFTC Private Event in Vegas, then the Billboard Awards, followed by shooting of the Video for "GirlFriend" (wait til you see the choreography on the special...it is HOT) then they come back to Orlando for another CFTC EVENT, and shoot a television commercial. I am going to save the product until the commercial airs. So I guess you could say we don't really slow down when we are off tour.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday, this is a very special one, all of us have plenty to be thankful for especially that we have such a great country to live in. Be kind to everyone and go that extra mile for someone who may need you this Holiday Season. As always, Stay *NSYNC and stay United!

JC has curly hair. they look so hot! Dish the Dirt on NSYNC, I'm telling you everything!
~ Joey is most likely to get married first.
~ Joey & Chris have the worst fashion sense.
~ Britney is at #6, I wonder what Justin's thinking, he's watching the video now, cause he's there, so yah, he's probably like "#6, o man! I said #1, but no buddy else thinks so", HEHE! Listen to this, Justin just requested "I wanna request Britney, cause she's so hot, and I wish I could date her one day". He's so funny.
~ Chris and Carson are having a fight.
~ JC fell down on purpose, he's so dumb (they were in Germany a long time ago, the guys thought it would be a good idea, so JC went crazy) (lol).
~ Justin has no idea what's gonna do on his 21st b-day. Chris does, but he won't say. You know Johnny Wright, right? Well, he always has a way of doing pranks for the guys on their b-days, but J's never on tour during his birthday. So he's lucky.
~ Girl Friend is the next single! It's going to premier on New Years Eve!
OMG! *NSYNC has to be #1! I think they are, cause Carson said New #1, that's the only video left!!

(14/11) 'NSYNC Have Big Heads; Necks Bending Precariously
Source: Sonicnet
Pop fivesome immortalized in bobblehead form. Fame and success have finally gone to 'NSYNC's heads. Their noggins are so inflated that they can barely hold them up, as if their necks are only flimsy metal springs ... oh wait, their necks really are flimsy metal springs.
While the real Justin, JC, Lance, Chris and Joey are still perfectly proportional, their bobbleheaded doppelgangers, available from Best Buy outlets beginning November 24, depict the group with oversized melons to match their extra-large bank accounts.
A different bobblehead doll — one for each member — will be available each week, starting with JC Chasez, according to a Best Buy spokesperson. Other figurines will become available each successive Saturday, with Lance Bass arriving December 2; Joey Fatone, December 9; Justin Timberlake, December 16; and Chris Kirkpatrick, December 23.
The limited-edition dolls sell for $9.99 with a minimum $25 purchase, and each comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Best Buy will donate $1 million in proceeds from the sale of the dolls to September 11 New York relief efforts through its Best Buy Children's Foundation.
In other 'NSYNC news, the group will appear in the TV special " 'NSYNC Live! The Atlantis Concert," scheduled to air November 23 on CBS, according to a Jive Records spokesperson. The concert, taking place Thursday at the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, also features country singer Tim McGraw, who'll perform a medley of well-known American songs with 'NSYNC. The group will host the network's entire night of programming before the concert airs.
On Sunday, 'NSYNC, along with Willa Ford, Deborah Gibson and Deborah Cox, among others, performed in front of more than 150,000 people — the group's largest U.S. audience, according to promoters — at a charity event on Miami Beach (see " 'NSYNC To Play Benefit On Miami Beach"). Final figures on how much money was raised were unavailable at press time.

(12/11) Joey Wants a Break
Source: bbc.co.uk, justjustin.nsync.nu

Thousands of *NSYNC fans flocked to Miami's South Beach yesterday for the boy band's free Veterans Day concert.

The show - which packed in an estimated 250,000 fans - benefited families of the victims of the September 11th attacks.

He reckons it's time for a long deserved rest before they hit the road again next year:

"Obviously there are some times where all of us are like, 'hey, we need a break.' We gonna have hopefully a little more time off - and then hopefully do some promotion in Europe."

"Then we'll be back on tour I think, I want to say April of next year."

"We're gonna be doing a whole new show with some of the other new songs on the album that we didn't get to do this last tour. And we're gonna downsize it to arenas."

(12/11) Ocean of Fans Gets *NSYNC
Source: miami.com, nsyncwebguide.com

Hours of waiting for tens of thousands of fans paid off Sunday night when the hugely popular five-guy pop band 'N Sync turned South Beach's sand and surf into a nonstop crescendo of ear-splitting screams and heart-throbbing sighs for 35 minutes of pop bliss.

It was a free surfside performance, with the Atlantic Ocean murmuring near the stage as a crowd estimated by organizers at 250,000 packed the sand from Eighth to 15th streets before megavideo screens.

Other estimates put the number of fans at 150,000.

A colossal stage rose on the sand for the occasion, with ribbons of fencing wrapping the beach's dunes.

The show served as a psychological boost for South Beach, which has seen a decline in partying and tourism since the Sept. 11 attacks. It was also a fundraiser to benefit families of attack victims, as well as the Miami Recovery Fund of the United Way to help displaced workers who lost jobs since Sept. 11.

The scene throughout the day was a roller coaster of pandemonium, with girls of all ages easily outnumbering boys 10-1.

Anticipating a surge of fans, concert organizers prohibited anyone from camping out overnight, but fans began lining up along the fences as early as 4 a.m. How two fans showed up was an example in patience.

Like a bullet train in motion, Ivette Cordova and Karla Diaz stampeded onto the sand with hundreds of other fans at 10 a.m., when the security gates opened for the South Beach concert.

They hunkered down until 'N Sync, their favorite boy band, burst onto the stage under the stars at 8:05 p.m. on the dot.

Nothing could have stopped these Miami teen queens from seeing their princes of pop Sunday.

"We've been trying so hard to see them up close. We have a better shot here,'' said Cordova, 19, who had tickets to the band's two
canceled concerts earlier this year. "We have nothing to lose. We've waited so long for them.''

Fans belted "Open gate! Open gate!'' when a slight delay popped up. Some tried to crawl beneath the fence. Others tried to topple. Several people were trampled in the rush.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, said detective Bobby Hernandez, Miami Beach police spokesman.

Many fans scrawled band members' names and messages of love painted on their faces, arms and legs -- among other places.

"We were like waddling penguins in there. It was terrible,'' Xiques said. ``I've never seen anything like it.''

Was it worth it?

"Absolutely! People will go through great lengths to see 'N Sync,'' she said. 'N Sync ``inspires you, so you want to be as close as you possibly can to them and be part of the action.''

They closed off Ocean Drive between Eighth and 15th streets for the flotilla of flesh.

Security was tight. About 200 Miami Beach, Miami-Dade officers and city employees, many of them volunteers, patrolled every block, as gold-shirted goodwill-ambassador volunteers greeted visitors.

Guards posted at each designated entrance searched bags and scanned people with electronic wands. No bottles or food were allowed in the event.

Overall, police reported a smooth operation, with no major incidents of crime, just frustrated fans eager to see their hip headliners.

Not all of the action was on the beach.

Back at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel earlier Sunday afternoon, the 'N Sync popsters told a crush of reporters that Best Buy was going to begin selling bobble-head figures of each of the singers. The electronic-goods stores also announced they would dedicate $1 million in proceeds to the New York City relief efforts.

Although the show was free to most fans, organizers expected to raise money through the sale of 1,500 $125 VIP tickets.

The bobblehead trend currently sweeping the country will come to Best Buy this holiday season as the nation's leading consumer electronics retailer offers *NSYNC fans exclusive, limited-edition bobbleheads of JC, Lance, Joey, Justin and Chris. Best Buy will dedicate $1 million in proceeds from the *NSYNC bobblehead collectibles to New York City relief efforts.

For five weeks beginning Saturday, Nov. 24, *NSYNC bobbleheads will be available at Best Buy stores nationwide for $9.99, with a minimum $25 purchase and a limit of one bobblehead per person per purchase, while supplies last. The $1 million donation from *NSYNC bobblehead proceeds will be administered by the Best Buy Children's Foundation, an organization that awards grants to non-profit programs that develop life skills in young people.

One *NSYNC Bobblehead character will be available each week. The *NSYNC bobbleheads will be available at Best Buy stores in the
following order: JC Chasez - Saturday, Nov. 24; Lance Bass - Sunday, Dec. 2; Joey Fatone - Sunday, Dec. 9; Justin Timberlake - Sunday, Dec. 16; and Chris Kirkpatrick - Sunday, Dec. 23. Each bobblehead comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity card and "Collectible Edition Best Buy 2001" stamped on its base.

"This is a great match all around," said Susan Hoff, president of the Best Buy Children's Foundation. "Many Best Buy customers are *NSYNC fans, or, like most of us, they know someone who would love an *NSYNC bobblehead as a holiday gift. This promotion provides Best Buy shoppers with a fun opportunity to collect truly unique *NSYNC memorabilia, while supporting a number of New York City-based nonprofit programs through the Best Buy Children's Foundation."

For the *NSYNC fan looking for the ultimate addition to their collection, Best Buy will make a limited number of autographed bobbleheads available on eBay throughout the holiday season. On Monday, November 12, auctions will begin on four complete sets and three individual bobbleheads of each of the five *NSYNC band members. All *NSYNC bobblehead auctions will last ten days. All proceeds from the eBay sales will be added to Best Buy's $1 million commitment. Go to ebay.com starting November 12 for more information.

(11/11) Britney Writes Note to J
Source: cdnow.com - Miss Truth

As everyone's favorite pop couple, Britney Spears and 'NSync's Justin Timberlake, become more and more public with their relationship, their liner note messages are becoming more specific as well.

After Spears issued an anonymous note to Timberlake in her Oops! ... I Did It Again! album in 2000 (Miss Truth, May 18, 2000), Timberlake used a nickname ("Pinky!") to address Spears in 'NSync's latest, Celebrity (Miss Truth, Aug. 6, 2000).

Now, on Spears' new effort, Britney, the pop temptress goes as far as to address Timberlake as "J" (scandalous!). "You're the one I love -- the one I live for -- the one I can't live without," says the smitten Spears in her latest liner note love letter. The ball is in your court now, Timberlake.

(11/11) *NSYNC's 'Gone' Urban with New Single
Source: launch.com

*NSYNC has crossed over to urban radio with "Gone," the second single released from the group's album, Celebrity. The song, which has been on The Hot Billboard 100 chart for nine weeks, is Number 13. It entered the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart two weeks ago, reaching Number 51 this week.

Gary Jackson, jamz editor for Hits magazine, said the song has created a strong buzz at urban radio stations across the country. "We've been getting a lot of comments on it," Jackson told LAUNCH. "I'm pleased that a super pop group is getting some recognition and urban airplay. It's like going back to old days when you could find Elton John's'Benny And The Jets' on urban playlists."

Justin Timberlake said the song, which he wrote and produced, is a reflection of his influences, which include Al Green, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye. "It's gotten to a point that I just stopped being timid about writing and producing and just said, 'Look, this is what's coming out of me,'" Timberlake told the Steve Harvey Morning Show. "I came to the record company and said, 'Do you think it will work?' And then when I played 'Gone' for them, and even when it was in its demo form, they were like, 'Oh my God! This is such a new light for the group.' I'm glad it worked out like it did. It was written from the heart."

(11/11) To the Fans of Both Bands
Sent By: Bethany

This message was found circulating through both *NSYNC and BSB online communities:

To the fans of the Backstreet Boys:I am here because I am an NSYNC fan. I am, however, NOT here to insult the Backstreet Boys in any way. I know that, even now, there is much fighting between the fans of the ten guys whom we support. I have been involved, in some senses, in this fighting, and I'm sure most of you have as well.
Recently, a lot that we take for granted has been threatened through the attacks of September 11th and the aftermath. In a completely separate sense or senses, what we take for granted in terms of music is also threatened in that the trend is unfortunately beginning to
shift away from the so-called "teen" pop music. I know that the immediate response to this is "I'll be behind them no matter what";
unfortunately, if they do not have enough such fans, they will be forced to stop doing what they love to do and what we love to hear. I guess that what I'm trying to say is, regardless of which specific pop artist we like, we have much in common. We are most of us
Americans, all of us citizens of the world; we all love pop music. Please, please join with me in stopping the negativity that is thrown
back and forth between the fans. I know this is not a new plea but it is one that seems the more relevant now. It would be a wonderful
gesture if even a few of us vowed to help to stop the hating and discord, if you will.
I don't know how you are going to take this message - maybe you'll just laugh and say that I'm dumb or that I don't know what I'm talking about. However, I still mean what I say and I'm going to start right now by apologizing to you guys for all the insults thrown at you by NSYNC fans (even though I guess I don't have the authority to make that apology, I'm saying it anyways, especially since I've contributed to it.) Best wishes for the BSBs success with their Greatest Hits album, especially the new song Drowning and video. Congratulations and best wishes to AJ for confronting and overcoming his problem with alcohol and depression!

God bless America! God bless the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and all their fans!

Source: hollywoodreporter.com, nsyncwebguide.com

A Happy Place -- the 11-month-old production company founded by 'N Sync's Lance Bass, producers Rich Hull and Wendy Thorlakson, music manager Johnny Wright and attorney Joe Anderson -- has acquired the romantic comedy spec "Mama's Boy" as a starring vehicle for Bass.

Written by first-time scribe Mark Hatmaker, "Boy" follows the story and misadventures of a business executive in his mid-20s who still
lives at home with his mother. Although his mother continues to treat him as if he were 10 years old, she soon decides to go to great and bizarre lengths to find her son a wife.

Hull initially optioned the script a few years ago when he was an independent producer with his own production company, Avalanche! After developing the script further, Hull brought it to A Happy Place for Bass to star.

Hatmaker lives in Knoxville, Tenn., where he is a professional No Holds Barred fighter and instructor. He writes screenplays in his spare time.

"This is a script I've been keeping in my back pocket for several years now," Hull said. "Mark had sent me a letter saying that he was a professional fighter but had written a sweet romantic comedy. I couldn't help but to be intrigued."

(7/11) *NSYNC and Others to Perform at Winter Olympics
Source: dailynews.yahoo.com

The Winter Olympics will showcase not only the world's best athletes but some of its best performers: Bon Jovi, 'N Sync and Christina Aguilera.

Singers Harry Connick Jr., Josh Groban and Charlotte Church also will make appearances at the closing ceremony Feb. 24.

Organizers are keeping the Feb. 8 opening ceremony under wraps, but to promote ticket sales for the closing ceremony they announced some of the talent and said ticket prices would be slashed for end-zone seats in the Olympic stadium.

Closing ceremonies draw fewer Olympic spectators than the opening but are less formal and more fun. "It explodes into one big, cut-loose kind of celebration,'' said Don Mischer, the Emmy award-winning producer hired to stage the Olympic extravaganzas.

The ceremonies could draw added significance from the Sept. 11 attacks.

"This will be the first time the nations of the world have gotten together since the war on terrorism,'' Mischer said.

"We finding a lot of performers understand that and would now like to be a part of the ceremonies. There's no doubt the mood has changed. It's almost as if the Olympics are more important now than they ever could have been.''

The singers will be paid only minimal amounts and won't get to claim the stage for long, he said. For the closing ceremony, Mischer is working on getting four or five more performers who can offer music that "works emotionally'' for the Olympics.

Olympic ceremonies typically draw 3 billion TV viewers.

Salt Lake organizers announced they were slashing the price of ceremony tickets for end zone seats. Those tickets will cost $320 at the University of Utah stadium. The better seats are selling for $885.

The cheaper tickets will go on sale beginning Wednesday for a week at Utah ticket outlet Smith'sTix before they become generally available.

Mischer wouldn't describe the theme of the closing ceremony or give any details about the opening ceremony.

"Elements of surprise have more to do with the success of the segment than anything else,'' he said. "Sometimes it's very hard to live up to expectations, so we want to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. We want it unpredictable. When they think it's over, we'd like to give them a little bit more.''

(6/11) Justin to Pop the Question?
Source: dotmusic.com, Laura

The Princess of Pop Britney Spears and her *NSync boyfriend Justin Timberlake are set to marry next year according to reports this weekend.

In yesterday's News Of The World, Britney is quoted as saying that the pair have spoken about marriage next year but any plans depends on their various schedules and commitments.

"I couldn't ask for a kinder and lovelier boyfriend," said Britney. "We are going to get married. We were thinking about next year but it all depends on our schedules."

Britney also said that her and Justin never spend more than three weeks apart.

"After every three weeks we make time to see each other and spend quality time together. I can't imagine life without him. If there is ever a problem between the two of us, we just work it out."

And Britney is still intent on maintaining her virginity until she's married.

"I'm waiting until I get married and that's all. When you're married it's special and it means more."

Source: mtv.com

New Britney Spears and Aaron Carter material, a house remix of 'NSYNC's "Pop" and a cover of "Parents Just Don't Understand" by Lil' Romeo on the same album? Only a genius could be behind this one.

Sure enough, one is.

Spears' "Intimidated," Carter's "Go Jimmy Jimmy," "Leave It Up to Me" and "A.C.'s Alien Nation," dance duo Deep Dish's remix of "Pop" and a remake of the DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince classic are among the highlights on the "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" soundtrack, due November 20.

"Leave It Up to Me", which, along with "Go Jimmy Jimmy," was written specifically for the movie, is the album's first single. A video for the track will debut November 5 on Nickelodeon.

Spears' "Intimidated" is an outtake from her Britney sessions, according to a Jive Records spokesperson. That album is due November 6 (see "Britney Says Britney Reflects Who Britney Is").

Lil' Romeo's cover of the 1988 hit "Parents Just Don't Understand" also features 3LW and Nick Cannon. The soundtrack includes remakes of two other '80s hits, Kim Wilde's "Kids in America" by girl group No Secrets and Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" by Melissa Lefton, who changed the "She" to "He" for her version.

The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "We Got the Beat" by the Go-Go's also keep with the retro theme.

"Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius," which features the voices of Patrick Stewart and Martin Short, follows the titular 10-year-old and his robot dog, Goddard, as they rescue Neutron's parents from aliens. The animated movie opens in theaters on December 21.

The track list for the "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" soundtrack, according to Jive:

Aaron Carter - "Leave It Up to Me"
'NSYNC - "Pop (Deep Dish remix)"
Lil' Romeo with 3LW and Nick Cannon - "Parents Just Don't Understand"

(3/11) *NSYNC Prepping For Free Miami Concert, To Be Followed By CBS Special
Source: launch.com

Jive Records recording artists *NSYNC will perform in a free Veterans Day (November 11) benefit concert in Miami Beach, Florida, with
special guests Mpress, Dante Thomas, Tito Puente Jr., Willa Ford, and Deborah Cox. Other artists might be announced closer to the concert date. The show, dubbed the *NSYNC & Friends Benefit Concert, is scheduled to take place on the sands of South Beach between 8th and 16th Streets. The concert gates will open at 4 p.m. ET for general admission, and the show will begin at twilight.

In an exclusive interview with LAUNCH, singer Chris Kirkpatrick explained that *NSYNC decided to return to Miami because it was forced to cancel two concerts at Miami's Pro Player Stadium earlier this year due to heavy thunderstorms. "A lot of that has to do with the fact that we had a show scheduled for Miami that got canceled because the weather kind of almost destroyed our stage. And it's kind of our way of giving back to Miami, saying, 'We're coming back to do another show,' and we're going to tie in some of the charity stuff to that also."

The concert is a tribute to the heroes of the New York City Police and Fire Departments, and proceeds from the sales of VIP tickets and concessions will benefit the families of those heroes impacted by the September 11 World Trade Center attack. The concert will also benefit the United Way Of Miami-Dade's Miami Recovery Fund, which provides assistance to workers in the local Miami area who have lost their jobs since September 11.

The city of Miami Beach, the Ocean Drive Association, and Ocean Drive magazine are the sponsors of the concert. A 24-hour information hotline has been established for the event at (305) 673-7222 or (305) 673-7400.

Following the concert, *NSYNC will leave Miami and head directly to the Bahamas, where the group will tape a concert live at Atlantis Paradise Island on November 14 and 15. The two concerts on the beach, which are free for guests staying at the resort, will be edited into a concert special that will air November 23 on CBS.

(3/11) Justin's Dream Come True
Source: YM.com

Everyone has big dreams, Justin Timberlake is no exception. Here are his five fantasies that already came true.

1) To be a popstar.
"I get paid to do what I love. I can't believe I make money (and a lot of it) singing and dancing. I get to go out and perform for people and make them happy and get their minds off of their troubles, at least for a little while. It's just pure fun. I'm like a kid in a candy store every night on stage. I go crazy. I'm running around bouncing off of the walls and having the best time.

And I get to work with the best people. I love the guys in *NSYNC. We are brothers. I wouldn't have wanted to make it with any other guys."

2) To fall in love.
"Who would have thought I'd find true love so young? Britney means the world to me. She's been there by my side through the good times and bad. She's my everything. I don't know what I would do without her in my life. I can't even imagine it."

3) To be adventurous.
"Sky diving was something I always wanted to do, and I finally did it last year. It was so much fun."

4) To meet Michael Jackson
"I met the man, Michael Jackson. We inducted him into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame. He's such an icon but he's the nicest guy in the world, and he's so caring. I think he's influenced just about every performer in the world, but he's still gracious. It was a great honor when he came out with us for the VMAs. Everyone was so excited. The crowd responded by giving him a standing ovation. He deserved it. He is the King of Pop. Then a few days later, we performed with him for his 30th anniversary. That's another night I'll never forget. Not many people can say they performed with Michael Jackson in front of a sold-out crowd. I'm one of the proud few that can."

5) To win awards.
"It's such an amazing feeling to win a VMA or an American Music Award or a Billboard Music Award. To hear your name being called among all these fantastic nominees, it's such a high to know that people appreciate what you're doing. I can't say enough about how happy I was when *NSYNC won all of those awards. Each of them have been a defining moment for me."
