Life takes you on

Dedicated to my twin daughters Ashleigh & Samantha who were born 10 weeks prematurely on 13 October 1989.
They are now two beautiful young ladies of 21 years - JKAH 07/11/2010.
I do not look forward to the day when they will fly the nest.

How proud I stood - yet filled with fear
Your fragile breath ... could scarcely hear

Unfounded fear as year by year
You grew in strength and beauty dear

Too fast - and all too fast you grow
Time takes you on  - it will not slow

And as you learn - you'll surely know
A time will come - you'll want to go

Life takes you on - you will not stay
I love you both - it's just life's way.
