INTRODUCTION Superb Sandra album and arguably her best ever. It is easy in retrospect to note how on this album Michael Cretu and Frank Peterson already were crafting a sound that would culminate in Enigma a year later. Besides arranging and performing all the tracks here with Cretu, Frank co-wrote half of the songs. The highlight of this work has to be The Journey which, like MCMXC a.D. after it, consists of interweaving themes. Johnny Wanna Live was later re-done completely by Peterson for Sarah Brightman's album Dive. |
