INTRODUCTION The success of this album was guaranteed by its first single, the haunting and tender Snowflakes and its brilliant inclusion of gospel choir. With electric guitars featuring prominently in the majority of the album, most notably on tracks like I Wanna Live With You, Shut Up And Kiss Me and Tell Her you will be hard-pressed to find dance-influences on this release; the possible exception being It Just Begun. Princessa performs a Schwarz and Meissner arrangement of Once In A Lifetime, this time in English as opposed to her previous reworking of this song on her debut Princessa. Also featured is The Way The Story Goes, the verses of which will be instantly recognisable to Sarah Brightman fans as having the exact same melody and lyrics as Only An Ocean Away (from Eden), but now with an all-new chorus that isn't as strong as that used in the original version. Interestingly this is the only Princessa album to date with no Spanish-lyric tracks. The result is a crisp production aimed squarely at modern radio-trends. |
