| :: INTRODUCTION
John Larkin, a Californian-born musician with a stutter, released a single in 1994 under the name Scatman John. His unmistakable and infectious scatting on this self-titled song (full title is in fact: Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)), proved an enormous success worldwide. Frank Peterson was impressed with this unique work and along with Alex Christensen remixed the original as PeCh. A special European remix single was released the following year featuring this new version. This re-working garnered even greater success for the song. |
