INTRODUCTION Errol Brown is most famous for being the lead singer of the 1970's band, Hot Chocolate. He eventually went solo and Frank Peterson produced 5 tracks for this 1996 album. These songs represented a new style of Peterson music. From the funkiness of Ain't No Love In This to the gentle Virgin Heart and the 1980s pop-sound of Only You Can Love. Two singles were released, unsurprisingly both of which were from Frank Peterson's produced tracks; the beautiful sweeping ballad Change The People's Heart being quite successful in Germany's pop-charts. But the highlight here must be Love Is Love a moody track with strong hip-hop beats, throbbing bassline and piano interjections supporting the catchy refrain referencing tolerance. |
