How to start this Project
When we contract to conduct the entire embedded systems project for an organisation we are required to pay a Royalty of UK£ 5,000.00 per organisation to the developers of the methodology, as explained in the opening paragraph, for:
-the methodology
-access to the database of tested devices (currently about 650,000)
-access to the 209 different tools the engineers use when doing site tests.
Obviously if you are not going to be using our engineers to do any site tests then you will not need access to the tools which is part of the royalty payment. You will however need the methodology and also access to the database. As a result the developers have previously agreed to accept a reduced royalty of UK£ 3000.00 per organisation for:
-the methodology and
-access to the database of tested devices
This royalty is payable prior to the commencement of the run and the Engineers time utilised (as noted per 500 devices above) is payable on receipt of the report. Should you decide, after studying the report to use our Engineers and the tools on site then a further royalty of UK£ 2000.00 would become payable.
For the purposes of this project an organisation is defined in our Methodology agreements as the Licensed user which must be :-
"the operating entity which directly houses the facilities which will be investigated utilising the millennium methodologies. The user is specifically precluded from being a holding company and specifically excludes any subsidiaries, associates or other operating divisions of the user."
We have to date successfully completed the embedded systems project for over 120 major organisations and references in your industry segment are available on request and in the Embedded Systems Project Overview.
