The
Bigsey’s Dining Carriage, offers a picturesque and comfortable means of

When
you not watching Rugby there is so much to do, see and enjoy.
No
matter what makes you tick the Cape Peninsula and Cape Town has everything to
keep you entertained.
Relax
on local beaches either on the Atlantic (Scarborough, Misty Cliffs, Long Beach,
Noordhoek Beach or Hout Bay beach) or False Bay (Muizenburg, Fish Hoek,
Glencairn, Simons Town or Boulders beach – famous for it’s Penguins) – all
between two and 15 minutes of where you’ll be based.
Enjoy
nature, visit Cape Point Nature Reserve for an incredible wild sea coastal
experience or visit Solole Games Reserve – Peninsula’s recently open game
reserve.
If
surfing is your thing, get to local breaks – Long Beach, Crayfish factory,
Scarborough or the Hoek. Being based on the Peninsula you are almost guaranteed
that it is going to be onshore either on the Atlantic or Falsebay so a good surf
is minutes away.
For
those wanting a leisurely game of golf, you can find two of Cape Town’s best
Golf courses, Clovelly country Club or Westlake Golf Club right on your
doorstep.
Then
there are the world famous landmarks and heritage sites, like Table Mountain,
Robin Island, Table Mountain, Cape Town Waterfront and Simons Town Waterfront
for your enjoyment.
Also
close at hand are the Cape’s beautiful wine routes so hire a car and plot your
way (but remember to take it easy on the tasting!).
