Coming to Cape Town to follow your Super 12, Tri-Nations or other National team.

Experience the atmosphere at the World Famous Newlands Rugby  ground with 50 000 other spectators.

Base yourself in Cape Town, on the Cape Peninsula where you can enjoy the live Rugby and be conveniently situated to take in the sights and sounds of Cape Town.

Being based in Fish Hoek, on the Cape Peninsula ensures that you are ideally situated to easily commute to Newlands Rugby ground.

Trains run from Fish Hoek direct to the Newland Rugby Ground station.

The Bigsey’s Dining Carriage, offers a picturesque and comfortable means of commuting to Newlands.

On the way to the match enjoy a cool South African beer (Castle is our preference) or one of the Cape Town’s world famous wines. The train journey takes 25 minutes, so just sit back and relax take in the wonderful Sea and Mountain views, knowing that you are avoiding the stress and strain of traffic and finding parking at the ground.

Once your team has won (or lost) board the train back to Fish Hoek to celebrate (or drown your sorrows) and again relax and enjoy the ride.

When you not watching Rugby there is so much to do, see and enjoy.

No matter what makes you tick the Cape Peninsula and Cape Town has everything to keep you entertained.

Relax on local beaches either on the Atlantic (Scarborough, Misty Cliffs, Long Beach, Noordhoek Beach or Hout Bay beach) or False Bay (Muizenburg, Fish Hoek, Glencairn, Simons Town or Boulders beach – famous for it’s Penguins) – all between two and 15 minutes of where you’ll be based.

Enjoy nature, visit Cape Point Nature Reserve for an incredible wild sea coastal experience or visit Solole Games Reserve – Peninsula’s recently open game reserve. There are any number of walking/hiking trails within minutes for the exercise enthusiast.

If surfing is your thing, get to local breaks – Long Beach, Crayfish factory, Scarborough or the Hoek. Being based on the Peninsula you are almost guaranteed that it is going to be onshore either on the Atlantic or Falsebay so a good surf is minutes away.

For those wanting a leisurely game of golf, you can find two of Cape Town’s best Golf courses, Clovelly country Club or Westlake Golf Club right on your doorstep. Also and option if you want to rough it, is Simons Town Golf Club.

Then there are the world famous landmarks and heritage sites, like Table Mountain, Robin Island, Table Mountain, Cape Town Waterfront and Simons Town Waterfront for your enjoyment.

Also close at hand are the Cape’s beautiful wine routes so hire a car and plot your way (but remember to take it easy on the tasting!).
