Welcome to my homepage ! I am a WIERD guy who took a lot of time creating this homepage and I owe it to Jim Knopf. This page is dedicated to Evan Widmonte , the first visitor !

What is a ZIP file ?

Answer :

A zip file is a large file, and in order to be made smaller it is zipped, a better term for zipped is compressed or as I would say squashed!

Many programs can be used to unzip (expand, open up, extract) these ZIP files. Some even have there own self - extractors built in.

If you have downloaded a file and you cannot unzip it, I recommend you download winzip (win95) or pkunzip (dos).

These are EXE files so you can just RUN and then install them.

BE CAREFUL - There is a virus on the net under the pseudononymous ( mock, not real ) name 'PKunzip300' - but all other versions are okay - I HOPE !
