If you need more space, it can be leased from the ISP. The problem is that many people do not have the skills to create a homepage, and the cost of web-page design can be prohibitive.

We do not charge more than R500 for your web page, provided that it contains only images, text and links. If you can provide your data in computer format, we offer exciting discounts. If your ISP allows CGI scripts for forms etc. we can provide these at a small extra charge. Web-site administration is also offered as a service - if your details change, your web-site must reflect these changes, but often the original designer is no longer available. Dead links are also a nuisance and need to be removed from your site - we have the skills to help you.

At the Magic Wand we believe that it should not be expensive to publish a good looking, informative and dynamic web page on that personal space. We design pages that load quickly by minimising the use of large images - there is nothing worse on the internet than wasting time (and therefor money) waiting for a large image to download. We also believe that pages should be logical - one should immediately see where the links are, and have some kind of idea where they lead to. Putting "Click here" in a box tells the web-surfer very little indeed.
Text should be visible, and contrast against the background - it should also be appropriately sized. Background images can add to a page, but the text and information on top should not be obscured by busy backgrounds.
We do not design pages optimised for one browser or another. There are so many good browsers available nowadays, including Lynx, KFM (under KDE), Netscape and IE that a page should be visible to anyone anywhere, no matter what Operating System or browser they have available.
