It's the story of a teenager (a boy: Ranma) who happens to morph into
a girl each time cold water is poured on him. He turns back into boy when
he touches hot water. He is not the only character able to morph because
most of them have all fallen in the sacred ponds in China. Ranma spends
most of his time either attacking or fending off the very nutty people who
appear from time to time. In the background, there are several love stories
going on. Ranma and Akane falling in love with each other, Shampoo falls
in love with Ranma, Mousse falls in love with Shampoo, Ryoga falls in love
with Akane, and so one so forth...
My opinion about this confusing boy-girl who-loves-who story, is that it's
so stupidly funny that once you've seen one episode, or read one manga,
you can only get addicted to it.
