Ghost In The Shell
It's a storty based in the 2030ies, in a very changed Japan. It's about a squad 9 Japanese
anti terrorist group, which accomplish very special missions.
The heroin, Kusanagi, is a mix between a cyborg and a human (no, not a bioroid) which lets her pefrorm amazing
feats of daring do. She's accompanied in her missions by a team of commanders : Batou team, Fuchikomas
(not a part of the team, they're special combat robots) guided by , their superior, who is a
close friend of Kasanagi's.
This manga is full of technical notes because Shirow has created quite a complicated story with
interesting weapons and stuff.
Ghost in The Shell benefits from a storyline that soesn't quite stand still, i.e. there's some action, hint hint,
wink, wink , nudge, nudge. However, the technical bits lose us sometimes, but if we think about them a bit, they make sense.
Not recomended for those who only enjoy funny stuff, but it does have its moments. And SD Kusanagi looks
sooooooo cute. Definitely a very good read, otherwise we wouldn't have written this much about it....
